We have been funded for an investigation of the effectiveness and safety of AbilifyŽ, a new atypical neuroleptic agent in the treatment of the symptoms of Tourette syndrome specifically tic symptoms, anxiety, and worry.

Subjects must be 6 to 12 years old at study entrance. AbilifyŽ will be started or substituted for any current atypical neuroleptic agent in use. This class includes Risperdal, Seroquel, Zyprexa and Geodon. Participants will be monitored for 8 weeks with 3 office visits and 6 telephone calls.
